The popular Problogger blog recently posted this nvaluable blog post about how to think about improving a blog post before you publish it, I always check out this blog, as it consistantly provides unique and often useful blogging tips.

When I was a young lad, I would start to draw monsters and all sorts of dark creatures, I would sit down at the dinner table, after well, dinner and just create fantastic images out of my tiny mind, this provided hours of entertainment for me and grew as a hobby too.

Now I am older and online and have had the chance to learn about the internet, I am here writing too, because without writing I would not be creating my own comic books too.

Drawing demonic art is fun for me, I hope you like it!

Since starting out online, not knowing anything, there have been few resources that have kept my interest, but one of a handful of sites that have is the Copyblogger blog, it is packed with great writing tips, from many writers that bring their own unique experience and quality tips to anyone who wants to learn how to write better or in a more improved manner.

This blog is one I visit frequently for help and advice in my writing efforts.

Through my many drawings myself in the area of fantasy art I have been inspired by many other artists online, And I look at their blogs as a source of inspiration and also to share the wonderful medium of drawing great fantasy art.

Dianas art is one of them blogs that I only found quite recently, but every time she has an update on a new piece of art I go to check it out, if you look through some of her fantasy paintings, they are really some of the most professional I have seen.

When I start to do painting again I hope mine will be as good as hers!

When you start a drawing you obviously have to start out in a rough fashion, as to mark out what you want to draw and get down the basics of your ideas.

Above is the basic oval shape that I like to start drawing a demons head, I mark out where I want to place the eyes and other features later for on, this serves as the starting point.

Now we go on to the face development, were the features are drawn more clearer and things become more evident of what they may eventually look like, at this point I make clear what stays and what goes and what could be added, because the next stage is inking the lines.

This is where you go over the original pencil lines to add form and a greater structure to your demons head, then you take a rubber and get rid of those pencil lines for a much clearer and professional drawing.

Last of all is the shading part, I do this with the softest pencil I can, to add a realistic tone to the demons head, shading should bring your demons head character to life and create a more solid demon.
