Xomba Blog: Xomba Wants To Say Thank You
Xomba Blog: Xomba Wants To Say Thank You
Hey Everybody,
We, here at Xomba, want to say thank you to each and every one of you this holiday season.
We're sending out free special holiday cards to anyone who will email us your real name and address. Please note I said EMAIL US, you can do this by clicking the contact button on the top of the page.
Unfortunately, we can only send cards to our North American users. However, that doesn't mean we forget any of you that make this website possible. It is just that a gigantic ocean lies between us and Abmox doesn't care for water or flying.
So if you want to see just how bad our handwriting skills are drop us a note with your full name and address. (Seriously, Jeremy and my handwriting is comparable to that of a 3rd grader.)
What you get with our fine greeting card is the following:
1. A personal message from the staff of Xomba
2. Nick and Jeremy's autograph. Sure to be worth something on Ebay in a few years. Yeah, we even guarantee it will be worth more than a Stephen Colbert autograph. That's right Mr. Colbert we're calling you out. (He'll never read this, but we might just make his list anyway.)
3. A generic, but cute holiday card wishing you season greetings.
4. Our Holiday wish list that will help you make that important decision on what gift to buy us this year since you made $1,000,000 on Xomba. (Actually, there's no catch.)
We're pretty sure there is a reason that no other website has actually done this. So, we thought we'd give it a shot anyhow.
In other news, Xomba will be unveiling our new Hall of Fame members in the next few weeks. We induct four new members every six months. This time our current members get to nominate the next four.
Oh the excitement just builds and builds.
Talk to you guys later in the week,
Xomba Admin

I want to wish Nick, Jeremy, and all the Xombies
a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, and/or a Happy "Insert Holiday of your choice here". I am happy to be a part of the Xomba community and look forward to sharing in our collective success in 2009.
For you Jaguar fans, I feel I should say some words of sympathy after the Monday night game sealed their season, but I have my hands full with my Cowboys right now.

Happy Christmas & New Year
Wishing Nick, Jeremy and all Xombies (including the visitors who read this) a very Happy and Merry Christmas and a New Year.
Wish, i lived in N America!.... when will Abmox learn to fly?
Thank You
Thank you Nick for starting Xomba and allowing us to write on it. And thank you Jeremy for keeping us on the straight and narrow.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you both. And Abmox of course. And Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all the Xombies.
Thank You Too
Happy Year Ending / Season Ending Nick and Jeremy.

Wish Abmox could fly. Would have loved an autograph (and the chance to make my fortune on EBay!)

Happy holidays to everyone.
Happy holidays to everyone.
It's actually kind of a funny coincident, don't you think? Eid (Muslim Holiday), Christmas (Christian Holiday), Hanukkah (Jewish Holiday), and Kawanaz all fell on the same month. Interesting, well enjoy, all of you.
Thanks to the Xomba gang(Jeremy and Nick) for making this site possible and to the Xombies for helping keeping it up.

Merrry Christmas to All!
Merry Christmas, Happy Eid, Blessed Hanukkah, Happy Kwanza, and whatever else I missed to all.
Thanks to the Xomba Admin Jeremy and Nick for patiently answering all my questions, and helping me get started on Xomba. For an unemployed writer going stir crazy, it was a great outlet, and I made a little money to boot!
I have to admit Xomba is the most helpful writing website that I've found to work with this year. And the most fair, a 50/50 split.
And thanks to all who offered support, and prayers during my unemployment. I'm still unemployed, and working temporary educational consulting jobs, but I'm back working on getting a publishing book deal.
And even though the Arizona economy sticks with construction in the toilet, I'm not as depressed knowing I can blog here with my (co-workers) at Xomba.
Hey, Arizona didn't take 10 weeks after all to send me my unemployment insurance check, as I originally reported. However, they did lose one week of unemployment, $250. It went to that big computer void in the sky!
Just thought you might want an update.
We still have a few weeks.
We just want to make sure we get your address so you'll get a card before the end of the year.
Understand that Xomba isn't bias to any one religious belief. I've learned a lot about different religions while running Xomba. Quite fascinating learning about different cultures.
Rest assured the staff of Xomba share different religious and political beliefs.
Oh and yes to answer a question your name and address is only used for holiday cards. We're not keeping a database or anything.
Glad to see people emailing us their addresses. Also if you live overseas email us your correct email address and we'll be sure to get an e-card to you.
Thank You For Making This Site Possible...
And Happy Holidays to all fellow Xombies of the Xomba community.
There is no way
No way I'm giving Jeremy my current address - the restraining order forbids it and thus my move from the state. :)
As you (Jeremy and Nick) know I absolutely love this site and wish you guys nothing but the best in the coming year. I believe in my heart of hearts you guys have a shot to be the next big thing and its been your willingness to do the right thing that has put you there (plus a lot of hard work - I remember the good 'ole days - Corbow, PoisedGuru, etc). I think you're getting to the point were you've got a stable full of very talented writers - its only a matter of time.
Happy Holidays, Nick &
Happy Holidays, Nick & Jeremy...and to everyone here at Xomba. May the new year bring much happiness and prosperity for us all. :)

This is a really nice idea
to spread the Xomba cheer! I consider myself absolutely lucky to have found Xomba and have made some fun friends and read some real good stuff. I also wish Nick and Jeremy and all Xomba-maniacs a happy and prosperous new year and I look forward to more reading and writing.

I made a comment about a technical glitch, but it turned out it was my computer not the site.

Well thank you guys for creating such an awesome website ! Happy Holidays everybody!
Happy Holiday Season
Hi everybody, Nick and Jeremy
I would like to wish you all a very Happy Holiday Season (all holidays). I think there is still time to wish for the new years and so I will wait for the appropriate time for that.
Thanks to Nick and Jeremy in particular for taking this site to the Skies. We are happy for you and wish you all the more success in the coming year.
It's really heartening to know that we would be getting a card from you. Looking forward to it. :-))
Ahhh..my suspicions now have some credence..
I always thought this site was a little TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE and now I see it for what it really is..you guys are just a front for the Government trying to collect information on US Citizens! What a ruse! "Send us your address for a SPECIAL greeting card, but only if you live in the US!" hmmm..what's so special about it? MAYBE IT HAS A SATELLITE TRACKING CHIP???!!! HMMMMM???!!!
Just kidding...You guys run an awesome website and, as excited as you are about the upcoming new look and functions of Xomba, I'm looking forward to what is in store for the future!
Thanks to the Xomba staff for your hard work, congrats on your well-deserved success and may the New Year bring you much more!
Thanks to all the Xombies out there who keep feeding the Abmox and especially all of you who have been around from his infancy and stuck with it so that those of us just coming along more recently could benefit. Much success in the New Year!
Happy Holidays to everyone!
